Dampened Yard Sale Revived for August 20 and 21

Our first Russell Woods-Sullivan Area Association Neighborhood-Wide Yard Sale was enthusiastically welcomed by the neighborhood this Juneteenth, but the weather had other plans. Over 35 households signed up to participate, and in the early hours, tables full of treasures lined our streets. It looked to be a successful day, with several customers driving through before our official opening.

Then the skies opened up, and our customers dried up.

Nevertheless, hardy salespeople rallied; in garages, under umbrellas and hastily hung tarps, we waited, but alas, the weather was not on our side.

By an overwhelming margin, homeowners have contacted us in hopes of trying again, this ti me over a longer period and hopefully a drier one. Mark your calendars! Our second RWSAA Neighborhood Yard Sale will occur Friday, August 20 and Saturday, August 21, 2021. Anyone can participate, as sales are in individual yards, and there is no fee to sell.
